SharePoint 2010 is a Web-based application, so you don’t need any additional software installed on your computer. Access to edit pages is allowed through a permission-based system, you must obtain permission to the site before you may maintain it.
Navigate to your site before attempting to sign-in.
Click on "Sign In" on the top right side of the website.
