SharePoint 2010 - Basics


Create New Page

1. Navigate to the site area (Department) where you are wanting the new page to reside.
2. Under the "Site Actions" tab select "New Page".
Create New Page

3. Name your new page and click "Create".
Name a Page

4.From the ribbon, select a page layout by clicking the arrow below "Text Layout".
Select Page layout

5. Add content in the form of text and web parts as desired, then click "Save & Close" at the top left.
Finish New Page
